The Roster Overview breaks down the differences between your rostered wage cost & your actual wage cost. That way, if you're using your rostered cost as a budget to spend you can closely track how you're going against this figure.
Keep in mind your rostered cost is built on your budgeted sales figure so if you end up bringing in far more or far fewer sales than anticipated it'd be good to check your actual wage cost percentage in Reports>Multisite>Wage - Food vs Beverage. This will show you how effectively you're responding to increased or decreased trade.
Roster (Shift Report)
This report gives you all the rostered shifts for the day/week/month and compares them to the actual clocked shifts. It gives you a difference in hours and costs and lets you see exactly where you have saved/spent too much in comparison to your roster.
This is great information for you and your managers, as you can see which areas of the business are costing more than they are rostered for. It is also great for managers to ensure the shifts are correct (someone may have forgotten to clock out).
These reports are totals for the day, if the staff has worked more than one shift you can click ‘Show all Shifts’ to drill down.
Roster (Print roster by Staff + by Role)
These links automatically create a PDF file you can print out, or save to file.
Print Roster by Staff will create a document with all staff in alphabetical order, listing all their shifts on a day-by-day basis.
Print Roster by Role will create a document with each department broken down and shown separately. (See example below).
It is up to your personal preference which roster you choose to print.
Roster (Roster Settings)
You can choose to share your roster with staff online through Loaded. The staff can not edit any details or see any other part of Loaded. This is a quick and easy way to let your staff know their hours for the week. Simply select ‘Share my Roster’ and copy the link into an email to your staff.
